I am Deepali, a Delhi (India) based Contemporary Artist specializing in Abstract, Geometric, Mid Century Modern & Cubism style art. My technique explores the use of colour, light & movement against muted background to create vivid artworks combining geometry with fluidity. Being a huge enthusiast of monochromatic tones, I love to create compositions in monotones while playing upon the finer nuances of the chosen colour and its gradations. I mainly work using acrylic paints occasionally combining them with oil pastels, acrylic markers & ink to build up textures & layering.

Having a deep connection with nature, my work & collections draw inspiration from plants, flowers, trees, birds, landscapes & all things earthy. And I endeavour to translate this inspiration into a visual form of expression through my expressive brushstrokes which may or may not be a literal representation.
